One Week Later (OWL) – Richard M: Guitars, Keyboards, Bass. Jane S: Vocals. Perky D: Drums & Percussion

One Week Later (OWL) is Jane S Broughton, Richard M Smith and Perky Dudley, their demo track “Typical”, was played on the BBC Introducing show who described it as a great demo. (a clip of can be heard on our audio page).

The band is influenced by a number of diverse artists from Fleetwood Mac, Future Islands, The Kills, Nile Rodgers and vocally a touch of Chrissie Hynde from The Pretenders.

Musically the songs are alternative pop and combine both traditional instruments and electronics but at the core the focus is the song.

O.W.L released their first album ‘Songs From Mars’ in 2016. A single ‘Mars’ was released with a well received sci-fi based video on youtube, also available via our website homepage.

Follow up album ‘ Connected’ was released in 2017 featuring additional band members Perky Dudley (drums) and Alan Caves (Bass). A video for the single ‘Connected’ is on our video page.

2018 saw a shift in sound for a 1 off project called ‘ Things That Make No Sense’, the ep of the same name and video were also released.

2019 Perky Dudley (Drums) joins One Week Later on a permanent basis and new tracks are on the way.

Welcome to “One Week Later” or OWL as we are often known.
